Waco’s Premier Music Instructor

For more than 40 years, Pat McKee has been teaching guitar and music in Central Texas.  His studio, Central Texas Music Academy, which was established in 1998 caters to students ranging from beginners to self-taught amateurs all the way to full-fledged professionals who want to continue to grow in their skill and knowledge.  Central Texas Music Academy offers online lessons which has allowed Pat to have students from California, Florida, all the way to South Korea take weekly lessons.

Pat can customize your lessons around the type of music you want to learn – classical, folk, country, rock, jazz and blues.  In addition, his students train in a variety of guitar playing styles – modern finger style, traditional flat picking and hybrid picking.

Pat McKee has helped many students prepare for and get accepted into many of the best college music programs around the country including Belmont University (Nashville), Berklee College of Music (Boston) and The University of North Texas.
